Job Opportunity - Abu Dhabi

A company is currently looking to recruit two armourers for supervisory positions in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Candidates should be ex-artisan Staff Sergeant/Sergeant/Artificer (exceptionally a first class Corporal, recommended for promotion) about to leave the Corps, or recently discharged, with a wide variety of small arms repair experience and a good understanding of small arms general principles and methods of operation. The candidate must have the ability to conduct formal training for local small arms technicians and equipment operators. Some knowledge of stores procedures and spare parts procurement will be an advantage but is not necessary. Further equipment training will be given on location and at manufacturers.

The company currently has a contract with in Abu Dhabi and outline details of the terms of employment (subject to change) are given below:

Annual tax free salary in region of USD 140-150K, thirty calender days, plus public holidays and one return business class flight to country of origin for employee and family. Medical insurance for employee, spouse and first three children. Annual bonus of 21 days salary. Employee is responsible for finding own accommodation. Education allowance of AED 30000 ( £6000) for each of first three children.
